Kyndel Bennett is a Managing Director of Cherokee and is responsible for originating, underwriting and managing projects in select markets throughout the United States. Prior to joining Cherokee in 2001, Mr. Bennett was a Principal of Overland Property Company, Inc. in Austin, Texas, a developer of luxury residential housing. Mr. Bennett received an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Bennett is actively involved with the Austin District Council of ULI and serves on the Austin Board of Big Brothers Big Sister. He and his wife Laura have two children.
