Jonathan Hornaday is an Associate of Cherokee. Prior to joining Cherokee in 2007, Mr. Hornaday was an Assistant Vice President with Wachovia Strategic Ventures in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he invested in early-stage technology companies. He began his career as an Analyst with Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co., a Charlotte-based mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. Mr. Hornaday received an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern, where he received the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Top Student Award. He received a BS in Business Administration with Highest Honors and a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was a James R. Copeland Jr. Scholar. Mr. Hornaday is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. He and his wife Andria live in Raleigh with their two children.
