John Davies is a Managing Partner of Cherokee Canada, Inc, which represents the Canadian brownfield development activities of Cherokee. Mr. Davies currently resides in Montreal where he is responsible for the redevelopment of the former General Motors site – an integrated lifestyle community on 232 acres in Boisbriand, Quebec. Prior to joining Cherokee in 2004, he managed brownfield operations of Reon Development Corporation. Mr. Davies previously held senior executive positions with two publicly traded property companies, Oxford Group and Abbey Glen Properties and has operated his own business for over twenty years, providing advisory services in property development, finance and acquisition. Mr. Davies has served as the chairman of the Toronto Waterfront Council and as Executive Director of the Hilton International Hotel Owners Association.
